Priority rights are the rights the owner of the industrial design is granted to make industrial design application in Turkey in 6 months of time after the industrial design is exhibited in official national or international exhibitions both in Turkey and countries member of Paris Convention. 

The term for using the priority document is 6 months. Regarding to the application for registration date, the protection of the industrial design is considered as beginning from the priority date.
